“imagi gave a great PD to our district’s computer science teachers that was informative, engaging, and really fun! The resources that they provide teachers are excellent and make it really easy to introduce coding with Python with the imagiCharms immediately.

“You don’t have to know anything about teaching computer science. After the PD our art, math and reading teachers were all able to incorporate the imagi platform into their curriculum. There are so many cross-curricular opportunities available.”

Frequently Asked Questions

How are the workshops delivered? Are they live?

Yes! imagi professional development workshops are live and instructor-led, facilitated by experienced imagi educators. Workshops can be delivered virtually or in-person, depending on your school or district’s needs. Sessions are interactive and hands-on, giving educators time to be confident they have all the knowledge they need to feel confident teaching Computer Science & AI in the classroom.

What can I expect to learn in an imagi PD workshop?

In an imagi PD workshop, educators will learn how to bring computer science and AI into their classroom with confidence. Educators build confidence with Python through hands-on, creative projects while exploring practical ways to use AI to support student learning. You’ll experience individual and collaborative challenges, see how computer science connects to real-world and cross-curricular lessons, and leave with concrete strategies and resources you can immediately use with your students—no prior CS or AI experience required.

Are workshops pitched at beginners or more experienced CS teachers?

Both. We adjust PD to your school or districts needs. All imagi PD workshops are designed to be accessible for beginners while still providing meaningful value for experienced CS educators. No prior computer science or AI experience is required. Beginners build foundational confidence and skills, while more experienced teachers dive deeper into creative applications, differentiation, and advanced classroom use cases. Everyone leaves with practical tools they can use immediately.
